In this brochure you will find our Booking Conditions, containing lots of rules and regulations that are very necessary. Here we have detailed some general information and helpful hints, which we think will help you when planning your holiday. So start reading!
All you need to know before booking
In the case of tailor-made holidays, the extra night prices are based on 2 adults sharing a room and should therefore be doubled if the room is occupied by only 1 person. See selected ‘Single’ Parent Hotels where single supplements on package holidays only do not apply.
Meal/Gala Supplements – where quoted, are per person per night.
Peak Season Supplements – will be quoted at time of booking and are per room per night.

This brochure was published in November and the details and prices contained within it are valid from 24 November 2011 until publication of any revised edition or until we or your travel agent advise you further. This brochure offers holidays with departure dates between 01 January 2012 and 30 April 2013. Your holiday must be completed by 14 May 2013. Holidays that extend beyond that date will require a special quotation.

The number of rooms and flight seats available may be capacity controlled. The prices shown in this brochure are therefore subject to availability.
Pricing conditions
Prices are per person based on a minimum of 2 adults (unless otherwise stated) sharing a room. Prices include car hire. Transfers, if available, may be subject to an additional charge.
Child Prices – applicable for 2-11 years (with the exception of Disney Resort Hotels where the child age is 2-9 years) when sharing a room with a minimum of 2 adults. Child prices are for length of stay unless otherwise stated. Any child extra night prices are per child per night. Please not: 1st child price is only applicable to 1st child in each booking.
Teen Prices – applicable in Florida (12-16 years) when sharing a room with a minimum of 2 adults. In general, teen prices are for length of stay.
Infants (0-1 years) – pay a price dependent on the airline they travel with and this will vary according to the date of travel. Infants are subject to fuel surcharges that may be imposed. On Virgin Atlantic flights, an infant will pay from £175 return in Economy. This price is correct at time of printing and is subject to change (reductions or increases may apply at the time of booking). In addition to this, for cruises, infants also pay the child cruise only price. Please note: That infants share a flight and transfer seat with parent/ guardian. You may request a SkyCot at the time of booking – limited availability. Should your infant celebrate their 2nd birthday whilst on holiday, a combined infant and child price will apply. Infants are not provided with any meals on the aircraft or in hotels. A small charge may apply locally for a cot.
3rd/4th Adult Sharing – these discounts (where quoted) are either per adult per night or shown as fixed discounts for the duration of your stay. Valid for 3rd and 4th adult only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
Extra Night Prices – are quoted per person per night and DO NOT include car hire or transfers. The extra night prices are not valid for accommodation-only bookings.
Single Supplements – prices are quoted per person per night and are in addition to the base prices shown.
Flydrive Prices – prices are per person, based on 2 people sharing and include a week’s car hire. A single supplement applies.
Houses, Suites and Apartments – prices are quoted as accommodation only. Please add relevant flydrive prices to package (some minimum stay restrictions apply, see relevant price panel).
Cruises – are quoted per person based on 2 adults sharing a standard inside cabin and are cruise only prices. Please add the relevant Flydrive price and any applicable extra night accommodation prices (please note: 1 night stay required prior to cruise embarkation).
Twin and Multi Centres – prices quoted are per person based on 2 adults sharing a room.
Attraction tickets and excursions – the prices shown in the brochure are only available when purchased as part of your Virgin Holidays package and are subject to change. Attraction ticket only prices will vary and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Early booking/Special offers
Please note: These offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Where dates are mentioned, offer applies to stays taken and completed between the dates stated. Please note that proof of marriage is required in order to benefit from the honeymoon offers available at selected hotels.
Independent itinerary charge
We provide Package Holidays. We do NOT currently sell just flights. Because we have commitments to our hotels, car hire companies and other suppliers, we have decided to make a flat charge of £30 per person for any period of 7 nights or more spent on holiday not using any of our services (excluding infants). FOR EXAMPLE, you spend a week at one of our hotels, but then spend a week doing your own thing, we will charge you £30 per person for that week.
Alternative airport (open jaw) charge
If you book an ‘independent’ itinerary and fly in and out of different airports, a supplement is payable from £30 per person.
Your holiday price includes
Return Economy Class air travel by scheduled flight, UK departure tax, US departure tax and any fuel surcharge (these are subject to change and will be confirmed at time of booking). Onward economy air connections where applicable. Services of Virgin Holidays’ representatives at Gatwick, Manchester and Heathrow airports. Services of Virgin Holidays’ representatives or agents at most resorts and destinations. Accommodation as booked. Meals and services as stated on your confirmation invoice.
Your holiday price does not include
Insurance – adequate travel insurance is essential. Any items, extras or services of a personal nature. Food and drink (unless applicable and specified). Gratuities on cruises. Airport taxes and charges at foreign airports (except USA) which are imposed.

At Virgin Holidays we’re dedicated to providing the best value-for-money holidays. We constantly monitor our prices and those of other Tour Operators to ensure that our prices are competitive.
If, within 14 days of booking your holiday with us, you can supply a copy of a brochure, or a written quote from any other ABTA Tour Operator holding an ATOL licence, offering an identical holiday which is available for the same dates at a lower price than you have paid us, we will either match the lower price, or offer you a full refund of all monies paid and cancel your reservation, subject to the following conditions:
The holiday must be for the same number of people, to the same destination, accommodation, room type and board basis. It must be for the same departure date and duration, and feature the same flights and airline as those offered by us. If car hire is included in the package, the car size and any applicable insurance must be the same. This guarantee applies to brochure packages only. It excludes special offers, free child places, flydrives, late availability offers (within 12 weeks of departure), specific Travel Agent offers, group booking discounts, free add-ons, insurance premiums and credit-card surcharges.
If you are able to find exactly the same holiday at a lower price than booked from this brochure, please supply proof of the other holiday and its availability within 14 days of confirming your holiday with us.
*Attraction ticket lowest price guarantee*
If, within 14 days of booking your Virgin Holidays’ package holiday with an attraction ticket, you find the identical attraction ticket with another UK ABTA/ATOL Ticket Broker, Tour Operator or Travel Agent at a lower price*, we will match that price. This price guarantee applies to WALT DISNEY WORLD tickets, Orlando FlexTickets™, Universal Orlando® Resort and SeaWorld® Parks & Resort tickets ONLY and is not valid on any other tickets. This guarantee only applies to attraction tickets booked at the time of making your holiday reservation and does not apply to tickets subsequently added onto your booking. Where you have booked your holiday through a Travel Agent, then the lower price tickets must be bookable at that price by your Travel Agent. We will require a copy of the Travel Agents’ quotation of the price to be matched against. The lower price tickets must be available to book, in order for us to be able to match that price. In order to qualify for this offer, you must submit, in writing, your claim within 14 days of making your package holiday booking.
