THE PRACTICAL, FINANCIAL & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OF AGING AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE FOR OPERATORS & MROS. As an aircraft becomes older, maintenance associated direct and indirect operational costs and penalties will increase. How does any air transport business, in particular, the smaller operations keep up with those businesses that are capable of acquiring new aircraft whilst remaining competitive and viable? In this session Consultant Rus Sutaria of ARC Global takes an overarching look at the challenges of keeping aging aircraft flying longer and says increased use of PMA should be considered by MRO as an integral part of the overall life extension product. Featured Speaker - Rus Sutaria, Consultant - ARCGlobal.info

THE UNIQUE CHALLENGE OF HIGH PRESSURE TURBINE BLADES High pressure turbine blades are one of the most technically challenging parts to manufacture due to their intense life cycle environment. Metallurgists and other trained scientists must guarantee the integrity of base alloys, weld, braze, casting and coating materials metallurgical development in reverse engineered components. Technical aids such as scanning electron microscopes, fully equipped laboratories and special software that assist in finite element analysis are also needed. Learn the complexities of making HPT blades and why they are as good or better than what they replace. Featured Speaker: Rob Church – Director Sales and Marketing, Belac
