We’ve heard through the grapevine that you’re a big fan of a family Christmas, is that true? Tell us more?
‘I love Christmas time, and even more so now with Kai. It’s a really big family thing to me, such an exciting time of year. I always spend it with my family and friends and it starts with mass on Christmas eve. We always get up really early Christmas morning and open our presents before Wayne leaves for training. Then we go and visiting family and friends and usually sit down for our Christmas dinner around 3pm. It changes every year who cooks dinner but it’s mostly my mum.’
We’re sure, just like the next girl watching her waistline, you’ll be careful what you eat over the festive season. But go on, you can tell us... do you indulge... just a little bit maybe?
‘No I usually just enjoy myself over Christmas and don’t worry too much about what I eat. I really enjoy the lead up by going out or round to friends houses for Christmas nights out.’
Have you got loads of parties lined up? Have you picked your favourite party dress from Littlewoods yet?
We caught up with our very own style editor Coleen, to ask her some quick questions about her preparations for Christmas
‘Not yet, but am sure there will be quite a few! And yes I have quite a few party dresses to choose from in my collection. The one I’m most looking forward to wearing is my red silk one! Perfect colour for the festive season.’
And what about Heels?
‘I love wearing tights in the winter time and my shift dresses look great with them. My black patent court shoe will go perfect.’
Party dressing is one thing - but have you got any tips for festive day dressing. Like Christmas day - up early with kids, helping with Christmas lunch etc.... Is it jeans and jumper or something a bit more dressy?
‘I spend most of Christmas morning in my new pj’s, opening presents and clearing up wrapping paper! But I love getting my new Christmas outfit on to go visiting and for dinner! I have always loved clothes and fashion, so growing up this has always been one of the most exciting part of Christmas to me, getting to wear my new Christmas outfit! I get dressed up but not too over the top, something like my leopard blouse, black swing skirt, tights and heels.’
Is there something in Littlewoods you’ve spotted for any of your friends or family?
‘Yes there’s always great present ideas in Littlewoods, but I can’t say what as it will spoil the surprise ha!’
Which make-up items are key to your party beauty regime and why?
‘My favourite products are YSL touché éclat, Chanel universal bronzer, boujior blusher, mac ample pink lipgloss and some eyelashes.’
Obviously you’ve done a lot of work with Littlewoods this year Coleen. Have you enjoyed the shoots? Is there any particular events or things that happened that stand out in your mind?
‘I have loved all the shoots I have been on with Littlewoods. The team are always helpful, enthusiastic and fun to work with. The shoots often take place in different venues which is interesting, we always have a good time and its a challenge to get the required number of shots done in a day.’
