Step-by-step guide to creative Christmas card making
To make this card you’ll need... Using the embossing folder supplied with the Texture Boutique, cut two pieces of card to fit to both the swirl and spotty die section.

Place the card inside the die card close and place between the embossing mats and a embossing plate on top.

Feed through your Texture Boutique, ensuring the card does not slip.

Take a C6 card, cut a red piece of textured card to size, leaving a 1cm border. Then matt onto gold card leaving a 3mm border and using finger lift tape, adhere to the front of the C6 card.

Take the dotted piece of card and tear along the edge to create a layered texture effect.

Trim to the width of the red textured card, and adhere to the bottom of the red card.

Using the swirled embossed card, roughly etch a Christmas tree design onto the back and cut out.
On the raised side of the Christmas tree, gently rub fine sandpaper to give texture.
Add finger lift tape to the back of the Christmas tree, and adhere to the front of the card. Place 3 silver self adhesive gems along the top left hand side and a ribbon to the top of the tree.
