Christmas Cards

t’s hard to believe that we are already thinking about hand making Christmas cards ... but that

is crafting for you ... card makers and crafters, craft Christmas all year round! Can you imagine how terrible it would be if we ran out of time to make that last special Christmas card? The one for Mum and Dad, or the one for your Sister and Brother in law... I know I would never live it down. That is probably why I do get myself organised and start early. It’s also incredibly enjoyable to make one or two at a time but know that each and everyone looks unique, fabulous and personalised.

Cotton Tape Bobble Rib Bag Kit Hazel Brown £22.10 This complete kit will allow you to create the perfect cotton tape bag. To create this essential bag you will receive the Luxour Cotton Tape, wooden knitting needles and the written patterns. Z8 908 20 wks £1.11

The Sizzix Texture Boutique This has become my new favourite toy. I got really excited when I saw that it looks like a hand bag... we can never have enough bags... can we? And one you can craft with is a dream! Simply by putting the card (that by the way is included in the kit) between the embossing folders, and then putting the folder through the fabulous Texture Boutique machine... the results are exciting, textured and really professional! I love that it works for everyday cards and Christmas so I think my new craft machine will be used all year round. In fact, with the extra folders that I will be adding and all the different materials I can emboss, I’m now looking for events and special occasions I can make things for. As they are so quick and easy and look so good, perhaps I could get the girls round and have a card making session over a glass of wine or two. We always love to look at each other’s new handbags!
