Research Assessment Exercise Results (RAE) 2008


The University of St Andrews has emerged as one of the UK’s leading research institutions for the quality of its research across Science and the Arts, according to the results of the 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise (www.rae.ac.uk) published in December 2008. The RAE 2008 has demonstrated that St Andrews has significantly expanded its complement ofworld class research since 2001 and is one of Europe’s leading andmost research intensive universities.
