When the iPad came around, a number of people thought that this might kill the textbook as we know it in our classrooms. While some might say it is too early to suggest their demise (as has been said about newspapers, magazines, and other books), it is clear that the iPad could change the way we think about |

technology and media in our classrooms. After all, we know that in our science classes – while there might be some occasional reading, what we should see is kids asking questions, exploring ideas, figuring our experiments, analyzing information, and sharing results. This is, after all, what scientists do. |
