All baby has to do is to hold on to the toy, start walking and the toy immediately starts playing a fun tune, which stops as soon as baby stops walking, encouraging them to move a few steps more. It is also an activity centre with six assorted shapes, flashing lights on the cheeks of the penguin and bubbles from the sliding fish, which also features fun sound effects.

Score: 95.0%

What the testers said: “A fantastic baby walker! The children loved it and have learned so much since it arrived. It is very lightweight so easy to manoeuvre but still sturdy and supportive; the children could use it to pull themselves up. The music is a great incentive for them to keep walking because it stops as soon as the walker

stops. One mum said ‘the music is great as you always know where baby is when walking around and if it stopped, you’d know she’d crawled off to get into something she knew she shouldn’t, like her big sister’s toys!’ Only negative is that the walker is quite large to store.”

Score: 93.9%

What the testers said: “‘An excellent product, which held the children’s interest. It promoted learning across the EYFS. The children enjoyed counting the elephants, putting them into sizes, sequencing and fixing them together to make shapes, which helped develop numeracy, language and fine motor skills. Robust enough for two-year-olds and easily washable after an adventure in the sandpit! A fantastic, well-made product that we would recommend. A big hit.”
