Day 7 – On to Bavaria, Neuschwanstein Castle & Munich You’re off to Germany, where a horse-drawn carriage takes you up to the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s castle – Neuschwanstein, built in the late 1800s by Bavaria’s King Ludwig II – for a tour. Have lunch at a Gasthof en route to Munich for a free afternoon. Please join us for tonight’s farewell dinner in the historic Palaiskeller of your landmark Munich hotel, the Bayerischer Hof, from which you can easily explore more of this classic Bavarian city as you wish.
