RED ROCKS & PAINTED CANYONS

Mother Nature Rocks

Mother Nature harnessed the wind and rain to carve out the Grand Canyon, more than one mile deep, coloring it with clay-red rocks, cliffs of orange and mauve, and deep purple bands of rock. She sculpted stone fingers called hoodoos to welcome visitors to Bryce Canyon, built a rainbow bridge and balanced huge boulders near Lake Powell, and in Zion, Navajo sandstone was her rock of choice, giving the landscape a pretty-in-pink look that never fails to inspire awe. The best way to see these natural masterpieces is on hikes with local guides, by mule or horseback, on a river raft, a flightseeing plane, a 4-wheel drive vehicle, a lake cruise and more, all included for your family on this rockin’ adventure.
