Making Magic


Built at a cost of €300 million ($400m), Rainbow MagicLand covers a 60-hectare site next to the Fashion District shopping outlet at Valmontone, about 30km south east of the Italian capital.


Both projects were built by Alfa


Park, which hopes to attract over 2.7 million annual guests at Rainbow MagicLand. The shopping outlet already receives over 5 million.


Spread across the park are a total of 35 themed attractions, including a Maurer Söhne X-Car Launch Coaster and Spinning Coaster, Vekoma double Mine Train, Junior Coaster, Sky Shuttle and Mad House, Intamin Spillwater, Bertazzon carousel, a collection of children’s rides by SBF, and dark rides by Art Project, Alterface, Hytechnology and Gosetto.

Operations Manager Europe Lo-Q Plc. is the leader in virtual queuing for theme parks, water parks and amusement attractions around the World.


The role: Under the direction of the COO will be to oversee the extended park operations in our retail locations across Europe and the Rest of the World. The Operations Manager is responsible for successfully leading our park managers and park support teams to reach company customer service and revenue goals. This hands on position includes, but is not limited to: overseeing the day-to-day operations of our park operations, handling a portion of the support team rotation for all European and Rest of the World operations overseeing our 24 hour/ 7 days a week operational & technical support, Driving Lo-Q in-park sales, Supervising managers at each of our park operations, Meeting weekly with various Lo-Q and park departments to communicate operational issues and goals, Preparing various operating and reconciliation reports.


Our Expectations: Our preferred qualified candidates would have 2-4 years operational management experience in the theme park industry. The applicant must have demonstrated excellence in organizational skills, interpersonal skills, leadership and team building skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible schedule, commitment to customer service. Must have a willingness and ability to travel and work away from home, some weekends and public holidays on occasion.
