CORRECTION: In last issue’s “Women Grab the Gavel,” D&B reported that President Obama had appointed double the number of women than President George W. Bush. In fact, President Obama has appointed double the percentage, not the number. Obama appointments to date are 47 percent women, to Bush’s 22 percent, and President Bill Clinton’s 28 percent.

Women have climbed the corporate ladder, yet positions on boards remain elusive. MCCA investigates this disparity and how governing boards can evolve to reflect the consumer base they serve. BY JONATHAN GRONER
