t can be all too easy to forget that gaming brings with it a great element of risk for some players – a minority, for sure, but an important one – and when a gaming market is the size of Macau’s, part of the industry and local government’s responsibility is to look after those people. The Macau Business feature on page 20 is frightening, with one problem gambler actually working as a croupier, the very profession that should be trained to spot the many signs of problem gambling. This year is slightly bent out of shape thanks to G2E
