The Verandah

Named for the Verandah Grill on earlier Cunard oceans liners is chef Jean-Marie Zimmermann’s stunning speciality restaurant, The Verandah, on Queen Elizabeth. You’ll notice design touches evoking that earlier era as you sample some of the most contemporary culinary creations at sea from a spectacular location overlooking the Grand Lobby.

Todd English †

Renowned for his restaurants and television shows, celebrity chef Todd English offers his signature creative takes on Mediterranean dishes at his eponymous restaurants on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.

Golden Lion Aside perhaps from the traditional afternoon tea served in the Queens Room, Cunard’s Golden Lion pub is as authentically English as it gets. Enjoy fish & chips, shepherd’s pie and bangers & mash at lunch, while evening beckons you back for lively conversation, a game of darts and even karaoke on select nights.

Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar Among those who appreciate the best things in life, they’re recognised as two of the world’s greatest brands — Cunard and Veuve Clicquot. So it’s no surprise to find the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar exclusively on board Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. It’s the perfect place to toast your good fortune with a flute of the world-esteemed sparkling wine produced since 1772 in Reims, France.

Commodore Club It’s not merely the marvellous selection of 50 signature martinis that draws people to the popular Commodore Club. Whether meeting new friends you’ve made on board for a drink or enjoying live piano music, you’ll soon find it’s one of your favourite places, too.

Churchill’s Cigar Lounge While strolling the ship, you’ll likely notice a photograph of Winston Churchill standing on deck aboard a Cunard liner, smoking a cigar. A tribute to Sir Winston, this clubby venue presents fine cordials and brandies as well as a worthy selection of the world’s best cigars.
