Henry Moore’s Hill Arches in the Water Garden.

Exhibitions, Art & Library Collections

The Exhibitions, Art & Library Collections Department reached new heights in 2010 with the outdoor exhibition, Moore in the Gardens. The exhibit re- soundingly declared the Gardens an idyllic setting for world-class art installations. The impressive Henry Moore sculptures drew a record number of visitors who also experienced the shows in Gates Garden Court Gallery, lectures and a cell phone audio tour. Art at the Gardens is also active, as demonstrated by dramatic increases and enhancements in the Botanical Art & Illustration Certificate Program. With additions to our circulating library collection and archives, and increased exhibit-related offerings, the Exhibitions, Art & Library Collections Department is one more avenue to connect people with plants.
