Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield successfully
captures the feeling of vast, inspired nature at its fi nest. Originally a farm complete with a barn, schoolhouse and ranch house, Chatfield is now a glimpse into the interplay between human impact on the land and the natural landscape. Chatfield hosts popular fall events like Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze and operates as a productive, functioning farm.
Multiple paths, the Corn Maze and pumpkin patch, and a Community Supporting Agriculture (CSA) garden stretch over 750 acres at Chatfield. An ever- changing expanse, the area displays its floristic bounty, from wildflowers to manicured rows of corn. With each changing season and passing year, the natural beauty of the grasslands, ponds and cotton- wood banks is showcased with understated splendor.
