Lorol sees satisfaction rise

As London Overground tops Network Rail tables, an independent poll shows that passenger satisfaction increased from 72 to 89 per cent in the 12 months up to Spring 2011. Surveyed by Passenger

Focus, the fi gures were higher than those compiled for London and the south east, which were 83 per cent. London mayor Boris Johnson

of the London Overground network from Silverlink in November 2007, a move which led to £2bn of improvements.

This service has been very much appreciated and is bound to get even more popular as the summer season progresses.’ Peter Williams, East Coast

commercial and customer services director, said that the scheme is benefi ting all types of passengers. ‘Many passengers are travelling with us for holidays, including those
