Our client, an established award winning Security Systems provider, has secured a prestigious nationwide framework agreement with a major Utilities company. They are to provide consultancy advice and implementation of regional site refurbishments varying from £100k to £Ms in value.


Due to this and other tendering successes they have a requirement for Quantity Surveyors with Electrical & Mechanical building services knowledge to join their regional Infrastructure works team. With several projects around the UK, each quantity surveyor will work with a team of project managers and Building Services consultants and be responsible for sites in their region. Regions include the South East, Midlands and North East/West.


Duties will include the project costing, costing variations, cost control, risk management, contract administration, monthly reviews, notices as required, monthly applications, invoicing, managing subcontractors and their accounts, fi nal accounts and claim preparation, project cost control, commercial reporting and sub-contractor account management.


Our Commercial Sector M&E services installation client requires an HVAC Contracts Manager to manage projects valued from £100k to £2m. You will ensure that each contract is run efficiently and profitably with day-to-day management of mechanical, HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a technical and management engineering background. You must have strong experience of management, delivery cycle of HVAC contracts, strong fit-out experience, specification reading, take-offs, redesign, H&S procedures, design checking, technical submittals and approval, procurement and value engineering, obtaining and controlling drawings, installation works including controlling labour.


South, Midlands, North England, £55,000 plus excellent benefi ts


Mechanical Contracts Manager and Project Engineers Ref: 11676 / 11675 Circa. £40 – 55,000 + Good Benefits Package Essex, covering London and Home Counties


Candidates should have previous experience in M&E projects with a sound knowledge of instrumentation and controls works. There will be travel required between sites and working knowledge of NEC 3 forms of contract and their associated documents is vital.

The Contract Manager will be take responsibility of numerous projects and monitor aspects on site, taking effective control and motivation of a team.
