As Head of Engineering Services you will have a key role in achieving that target, together with a responsibility to maintain and improve the engineering infrastructure across the estate. You will lead the engineering services team to develop programmes of work to achieve carbon reduction, long term maintenance and development projects in a professional and cost effective manner. You will take a pro-active role in implementing the University’s Carbon Management Plan, gaining ‘buy-in’ from senior colleagues to ensure effective delivery.


You will be a chartered engineer with substantial experience of mechanical, electrical and public health services in complex buildings. Communication and teamwork with a multitude of colleagues and stakeholders will be central to your role, as will managing budgets, workload planning and securing resources.
