Conclusion
In summary, here we have attempted to briefly review the rarer clinical presentations and manifesta- tions of HCL and highlight some of the rarer associations of systemic diseases, autoimmune dis- orders, neoplasias, and opportunistic infections that may be linked to this rare and unusual B-cell tumor and that may occur during the course of the disease. Many of these issues still remain unresolved in terms of statistical significance, but it is important for hemato-oncologists to be more aware of these possible associations and rarer presentations when treating this unusual and rare malignancy whose pathogenesis and etiology still remain to be more clearly defined.
