nanotimes EU-Projects Call for Exchange Visits
NanoICT project launched a second call for exchange visits for PhD students (or senior re- search personnel).
Main objectives:
• To perform joint work or to be trained in the leading European industrial and academic research institutions;
• To enhance long-term collaborations within the ERA;
• To generate high-skilled personnel and to facilitate technology transfer;
• In all respects, these training activities are an important element in networking.
Conditions:
EUR1.500 (maximum) per visit to cover only travel and accommodation expenses Applicants must be students or research personnel (no permanent positi- on allowed) working in any registered nanoICT group.
• Destination groups must be as well a nanoICT registered group;
• Duration of the visit: one week minimum and should be finished before the end of September 2011;
• After the visit, a scientific summary report must be delivered;
• The nanoICT Management Board will award grants for this activity on a competitive basis;
• Priority will be given to women and ERA cross border applications;
• Funding will be available only for personnel belonging to European groups.
