Ynvisible is a spin-out of YDreams. The technolo- gies developed by Ynvisible will allow the inclusion of interactive and animated features on products in areas such as packaging, advertising, print media, signage and smart wearables. The company has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since February 2011.
In March 2011, Ynvisible signed a partnership deal with Xennia to optimize inks used for the industrial printing of electrochromic displays. Based on its vast experience in industrial inkjet printing of different materials, Xennia will optimize the chemical formu- lations of Ynvisible’s inks, enabling rapid industria- lization of its displays and guaranteed quality and efficiency of the inks in large-scale printing processes.

Japan‘s National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) announced in June 2011 that it has added 370 chemical substances to its GHS classification list following a project conducted in 2009 by the Ministries of Health, Labor, and Welfare (MHLW) and the Environment (MoE). The list now contains 2,231 substances.
