Join MechE in Going Green
A “Green Team” is a voluntary group of faculty, students, and staff who work together to become more sustainable. MechE is committed to becoming a “Green Leader” for the benefit of our faculty, staff, students, and community. For this reason, the Department has formed a Green Team and encourages sustainable practices. Current initiatives include reduced-waste events and paper-usage reduction in the Department. To this end, Carnegie Mech is going digital! The new digital edition of our newsletter will be interactive and feature expanded content. We will continue to distribute hard-copy editions of Carnegie Mech to all alumni through the end of 2011, with future plans announced in the next issue. We welcome suggestions and feedback on reducing the number of mailed print editions as we move forward! Visit the Department Web site to connect with us:
