Welcome to the summer issue of Irish Director. As we go to press, the EU has approved its aid package for Portugal, and Greece continues to cause concerns among the eurocrats. Brendan Keenan takes a look at Ireland’s relationship with Europe and asks if trust can be restored. Trust, of course, has been badly shaken
in Ireland’s institutions, public and pri- vate, but Stephen M R Covey says it is time for leaders to stand up and call it out,
and focus on a deliberate strategy to restore trust. In One to Watch, we look at one of our home-grown life sci-
