NWS VDE ErgoMulti & ErgoCombi Pliers:
Made For Professional Electricians Both the versatile VDE ErgoMulti and the multi-function VDE ErgoCombi from leading German manufacturer, NWS, have been designed and developed specifically for use by professional electricians.
An outstanding feature of the NWS ErgoMulti hand tool is the acutely angled long-nosed head with induction-hardened precision cutting edges - capable of stripping 1.5mm and 2.5mm cable for single and multiple conductors, even in the tightest of corners. In addition, the proven NWS CombiMax jaw configuration enables the VDE ErgoMulti pliers to grip nuts and flats - in a variety of shapes and sizes - with ease. Precision manufactured in Germany from tool-quality steel, drop forged and oil-hardened, the VDE NWS ErgoCombi is also superbly engineered. In addition, it is designed to provide a practical everyday solution when working within a confined space. The angled head makes for very easy access – within machinery, electrical cabinets and switch-gear installations while the robust self-opening spring is guaranteed to lock securely in position.
These NWS combination pliers feature powerful induction-hardened cutting edges for hard and soft cables and wires; a serrated grip-zone for holding flat as well as round objects; a non-slip fine nail-holding capability - and it functions very effectively as a (M8 - M10) spanner!
As with all NWS VDE pliers, these two handtools have distinctive patented red/yellow bi-component soft grip handles that absorb the strain of constant use – saving the user’s ligaments and wrist joint. Safety features of these handles include a clear indication of the minimum grip distance from the business end of the tool, together with optimised slip-guards conforming to IEC 60900 to provide further protection.
