FlexiHire solution


one of the country’s largest builders’ merchants and home improvement retailers, has replaced 250 machines with Yale trucks from Briggs, but crucially, also included the UKWA Award-winning Speedshield telemetry system.

Speedshield encourages best- practice driver behaviour by enforcing a tailored HSE checklist on start-up. This feature gives users a paperless online HSE compliance record with exceptions locking out a unit and informing appropriate supervisors. Also a range of options allow users to select the benefits and solutions to match their exact needs from two-way, real- time speed limiting to reducing wasted fuel and CO2


emissions.


Customers can access all of these features via any internet PC through the secure web-based application, eliminating additional software license costs and offering tiered levels of access and control. Users have the option to send commands to their fleet or an individual unit, rectifying issues immediately.


Developed by Briggs for Briggs customers, Speedshield is an investment to allow customers to reduce costs and focus more on running their business and less on running their MHE fleets.
