C.Scope launches new cable locators


Hot on the heels of the successful launch of the multi-frequency MXL locator and MXT transmitter, C.Scope has added two more cable locators to its product range for use by contractors and utility operators. The C.Scope CXL and DXL Cable Avoidance


Tools are digital locators. Both have the familiar modes; power radio and generator but are now strengthened by a fourth mode; allscan which


combines all three


modes of detection in one simple operation. The DXL version is further enhanced by being able to offer depth measurement when using a C.Scope Signal Generator Sonde. All C.Scope Digital Locators have the


standard industry requirements of backlit digital display,


fully operational sensitivity control,


detachable loudspeaker and operating mode switch. These new locators are built to the IP65 standards and can operate for a full 40 hours


usage on one set of batteries. In support of the new locators; C.Scope offer two different power levels of signal generator. The SGA Signal generator remains unchanged, but the SGV Signal Generator has been upgraded to provide a 1W power output, allowing customers to choose a signal generator that suits their particular requirements.

Technolog is launching a new device to lower network distribution pressure, at IWEX. The Ecowat Two Stage Electronic PRV Controller, offers a simple means to lower network distribution pressure at specific times of the day, or demand, thus helping to reduce leakage and frequency of bursts. The Ecowat features simple two button operation, internally powered for over 10 years and waterproof to IP68 standard.
