1) The Sabre Tooth Tigerslide is scheduled to be replaced this year. The inflatable is nine years old and has served us well.
2) Look carefully beneath the monorail and you’ll see the Oakland Acorn, a c.1956 live steam locomotive that takes passengers on a two-mile scenic ride in the countryside.
3) This picture shows two of our four rollercoasters. The Chance Toboggan is unique in that it was the 1969 prototype of the ride in addition to being the only park version ever built.
4) The Meteor wooden coaster was removed from Hillcrest Park near Chicago, where it operated from 1967 to 2003 as the Little Dipper, and rebuilt here. It originated in a different Chicago area park, Kiddytown in Harwood, where it was constructed in 1953. To our knowledge it is the only operating wooden coaster that has been relocated twice.
5) The Blue Skyride, our monorail, was built for Peony Park in Omaha, Nebraska. The park closed in 1993. It is the only one remaining monorail of two built by the Allan Herschell Company.
