Data Center Solutions Awards 2011


DCS Awards to Coincide with Datacenter Technologies Academy London


Angel Business Communications have announced that the 20011 Data Centre Solutions Awards (DCS awards) will now take place on the evening of the 19th May to coincide with the SNIA Europe Datacenter Technologies Academy being held at the QEII Conference Centre in central London on the same day. The DCS Awards are a brand-new set of end-user focused awards that reward the successful implementation of products and services by companies and teams that have made a significant contribution to their organisations’ IT environment.


The awards feature 13 categories providing a wide range of options for organisations and individuals involved in the IT industry to participate. The closing date for nominations is now 7th April 2011 and all entry fees will be split between the event’s two chosen charities, Charlie’s Challenge (www. charlieschallengestepbystep.co.uk) and the Make-A-Wish foundation® UK. Proceeds from the charity auction on the night will be donated to Charlie’s Challenge. By nominating today you are about to transform someone’s life forever!


After the submissions are made a judging panel of respected UK editors and analysts will validate the entries and will announce

the finalists who will be forwarded for voting between 12th April and the 10th May by the readership of the Angel Business Communications stable of IT publications. The winners will be announced at the evening of the 19th May 2011 after the Datacenter Technologies Academy in London.


All projects entered must have been implemented in the UK between 1st January 2010 and 31st December 2010 (exceptions: Business Continuity Project of the Year and DCS Industry Award) and awards will be made to the end-user themselves and either the nominating vendor or supplier instrumental in delivering the project. Nominations can be submitted by vendors, the channel or the end-user organisations.
