Free “Not Your Mama’s Menopause” Class
n March 12, Tammy Grisel, natur- opathic endocrinologist and founder of Natural Solutions, will offer a free class, Not Your Mama’s Menopause, from 2 to 4 p.m. at ClubSport San Ramon. She will discuss the signs and symptoms of hormone imbalances and offer natural alternatives to help restore balance and optimal health.

9000 Needles Screening in Livermore
ivermore’s Advanced Acu- puncture Centre will present a screening of 9000 Needles, the Best Documentary Winner at multiple film festivals, at 7 p.m., March 2, at the Vine Cinema, in Livermore.

The documentary follows the story of Devin Dearth, a champion bodybuilder and father of three, on his search for recovery after a stroke leaves him paralyzed on the right side and unable to care for himself. Frustrated by the health- care system in the United States, Dearth and his family travel to China to experience a rehabilita- tion program for stroke victims that incorporates Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The screening will be fol- lowed by a question-and-answer session with Doug Dearth, the film’s director and brother of Devin.
