aipei’s Taoyuan International airport handled nearly 1.8 million tons of cargo in 2010, an increase of 30.1 percent on its performance in the previous year and a new record for

volumes to grow further this year, driven by an economic recovery in the country and the new trade pact with China. The airport’s home-based carrier China

The system will continue to be

tested on the Kuala Lumpur - Taoyuan route, while Taiwanese flag-carrier China Airlines will also work to expand its paperless cargo import clearance capability to other routes on its network in the near future.
