Making light work of bulbs
A bulb wattage tells us how much energy it uses. But new technologies such as LED and energy savers use far less energy to generate the same amount of light. The most effi cient bulbs save up to 90% of energy, compared to conventional bulbs.
The table below gives an approximate bulb lifetime and energy saving comparison against a conventional 60W light bulb.
