The MSc in Technical Ship Management provides unique coverage of the necessary technical knowledge and expertise combined with the appropriate managerial skills, essential for this purpose.
Structure - University staff and experienced industry experts cover in detail the following areas of study:
• Marine transport and economics, maritime law, contracts and insurance • Regulatory framework, operational safety and environmental protection • Inspection and survey, system availability and maintenance, energy management • Shipping practices and management
Mode of study - 12-months full-time or 24-months part-time.
Entry requirements - 2:1 BEng (Honours) or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related fields of study. Other qualifications with relevant practical experience will be considered on an individual basis.
