G2E PREVIEW

Worldwide demand for DigiDeal tables grows

The e-table innovators are back at ICE on stand 3568… T

he electronic table game (e-table) phenomenon started at the 1999 World Gaming Expo where DigiDeal introduced the first hosted electronic table game. Most saw it as

an innovation that would change the table game industry forever but some said players would never trust a computer. Over the last decade the skeptics have been proven wrong as both players and operators around the world are embracing DigiDeal’s proprietary e-tables. Since that time, DigiDeal has manufactured and shipped over 1,000 tables world-wide. For many new and emerging markets like

Mexico and Asia, hassle-free security and ease- of-use are important, but meeting jurisdictional requirements is essential. And the DigiDeal platform can be configured and approved as a table game in one jurisdiction or be configured and approved as a slot machine in another – without losing a live host. Mexico is a prime example of a developing

market that just recently approved electronic card games, and DigiDeal is the preferred provider. Currently, DigiDeal has over 50 tables in play with some of the largest operators in Mexico with many more scheduled for installation throughout the country in coming months. In the ever-expanding Asian market, Macau

recently imposed a cap on the allowable number of table games. This is a problem because demand is so high. DigiDeal tables offer the perfect solution since they can be classified as either electronic table games or as slot machines: the DTS-V table meets GLI 24 and 25 (electronic table games) as well as GLI 11 (slot machine). DigiDeal has over 30 tables currently warehoused in Macau as it finalizes

installation schedules with several prominent Macau properties.

In neighboring countries, Vietnam continues

to be a strong market for DigiDeal products. DigiDeal has tables installed at over 20 properties and are excited about the new 5-star Hyatt Casino installation opening soon in Hanoi. DigiDeal also had over 200 games in Cambodia prior to the new law limiting gambling to one casino in Phnom Penh (Nagaworld). Many of these tables have been moved to other jurisdictions throughout Asia since they were so popular and easy to operate. And with DigiDeal’s new distribution agreement with Silver Heritage Ltd. more table installations are planned for 2011. Silver Heritage Ltd. has operations in Macau, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and on cruise ships sailing in Asian waters. While there are other video slot e-tables

available, only the proprietary DigiDeal tables offer a true pit-style table game with a live host. Adding to its unrivaled flexibility, DigiDeal recently introduced the L2V (live-to-virtual) table: this table offers card scanning using almost any third-party card scanning device. Now operators can choose traditional or virtual cards, as well as traditional or virtual chips, for their DigiDeal tables. Plus, DigiDeal’s new L2V is the only e-table that enables the operator to switch between a hosted, live card mode and an autohost, virtual card mode in a single platform. Operators can offer live tables during peak hours and autohosted tables during slower hours – all in the same location! DigiDeal demonstrated the L2V table at G2E using the TCS John Huxley’s VUU scanner, and will be demonstrating L2V at ICE using the Bee scanner. The L2V, as well as DigiDeal’s DTS-X

table, has generated a lot of interest in the European markets. The DTS-X is the leading plug-and-play, eight-player platform with individual bill validators and ticket printers offering three popular game titles with bonus bet options. Stop by stand 3568 to play and test both platforms. DigiDeal continues to set the standard for e-

table games and platforms around the world. The Digital Table System (DTS) platform offers maximum flexibility and increased operational efficiencies. Operators can choose from the DTS-C, with six positions, virtual cards and traditional chips; the DTS-V, with six positions, virtual cards and chips, and a wide assortment of money-handling capabilities (cash-in, TITO, or keyed on credits); or the DTS-X, the newest member of the DTS family, offering eight positions with individual bill validators and ticket printers. All DTS platforms feature state- of-the-art touch screen technology, enabling the players to be part of the action with on- screen virtual chip selection and betting, real- time card peeking and up-to-date player bank information. The DTS has full SAS network capabilities and is compatible with back-end financial tracking and player reward systems. DigiDeal’s classic series of games are

available on all its platforms and are localized for the most popular gaming markets. Operators can choose between playing their games in English, Spanish or Chinese. With sales and support offices in multiple countries, DigiDeal is able to provide quality customer support around the world and remains the benchmark of e-table technology and innovation.
