UK sports consultancy and recruitment company Sport Structures Recruitment recently formed a partnership with major Brazilian recruitment firm SERES to help it win projects in Brazil as the country gears up to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games.
The agreement, which will see the West Midlands-based firm adding its sporting expertise to SERES’ more than 40-year experience in Brazilian recruitment, was finalised at the Sports Event Expo held in Rio last September. Sport Structures, which initially identified SERES as a potential partner after commissioning an Overseas Market Introduction Service report, attended the event as part of a delegation that was supported by UK Trade & Investment.
Simon Kirkland, director of Sport Structures, said: “We are delighted to have such an experienced recruitment partner in SERES to help us jointly maximise the opportunities of offering recruitment services to the emerging Brazilian market.”
SERES’ Fabio Palmer said: “Sport Structures is an established and wellrespected company in the sports market and this relationship is an opportunity to add sporting expertise to our portfolio of recruitment services in the build up to the Olympics and the World Cup in the coming years.” www.sportstructures.com
