PASTURES NEW

Fuelled by football fever in anticipation of Euro 2012, Notts Sport is doing good business supplying artificial turf to the Polish market. With help from UK Trade & Investment in Warsaw, the Lutterworthbased company has appointed Polish distributor Hemet through which it has already received business worth €45,000, with high expectations for 2011/12.

Lincolnshire-based company Hunts Contractors is also doing well in the sports field sector. Acting on market information supplied by UK Trade & Investment, the firm decided to employ a Polish staff member who splits his time between Poland and the UK. As a result, Hunts has won two contracts in Poland.
