abot Microelectronics Corporation (NASDAQ: CCMP) reported financial results for its fourth
quarter and full fiscal year 2010, which ended Sep- tember 30. Total revenue during the fourth fiscal quarter was $110.3 million, which represents the Company‘s fourth consecutive quarter of record revenue. The company‘s fourth quarter revenue reflects an increase of 14.3% compared to the same quarter last year and an increase of 8.5% compared to the prior quarter, on continued strong demand for the company‘s products. Net income for the quarter was $15.3 million, up from $12.2 million in the same quarter last year and up from $10.1 million in the prior quarter. The company‘s balance sheet reflects a cash balance of $254.2 million and no debt outstan- ding as of September 30, 2010.
Furthermore, Cabot Microelectronics announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program for up to $125 million of the company‘s outstanding common stock. The new
