PREDATOR LEE
$90 Cdn and U.S.
www.predatorhelmets.com Predator’s new Lee model is apparently named after Bruce Lee and General Lee, neither of whom are easily pictured in this base- ball-cap-style helmet—but that’s beside the point. The thermo- plastic shell is light and its thin foam padding is covered with a soft lining, so it won’t grab your hair (if you still have hair) or rub your bald head (if you don’t). The one-size-fits-all model comes with plenty of foam inserts to customize your fit and some stiff removable ear flaps that would make good hip pads. It is de- signed to be worn frontward or backward. This is a good-looking, low-profile, minimalist lid. Like all helmets, but especially low-cut styles, make sure it fits and stays put. Available in matte red, matte black and silver carbon graphic.—IM
