SPDI News At the cutting edge
Large format finishing manufacturer, Matic, has appointed Atech as sole UK distributor of its large format finishing equipment for the soft signage and digital textiles sector. Atech will stock and demonstrate a range of equipment including industrial sewing machines, industrial impulse welders and pneumatic eyeleting machines. Items include the Cronos-L, an ergonomic sewing workstation designed to create long seams on items such as flags and banners. For rolling up fabric quickly and accurately, the Rollmatic ensures just one operator is required for heavy or large products. It allows cut fabric to be rolled directly onto a cardboard roll.
Other equipment in the new line up is the Flexicut, designed for cutting textiles and PVC. It offers three types of cutting: ultrasonic cut for textile fabrics, crush cut for glass fibre coated with PVC and rotating knife cut for polyester coated PVC. Finally, Atech will also distribute the entire Talos range of eyeleting machines with two manual, two pneumatic and two automatic versions.
