IP SUMMIT 2010 LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Te 4th Pan-European Intellectual Property Summit will take place at Plaza Hotel, Blvd Adolphe Max 118-126 in Brussels, on December 2 and 3, 2010.
Te ground floor of the Plaza Hotel is the main meeting place for the 600 delegates. Registration will start at 8am on Tursday, December 2, 2010. All the delegates will be welcomed to the IP Summit in the Mathilde Room of the Plaza Hotel.
Te first plenary session will start at 9am with a keynote speech from the European Commissioner
for Internal Markets and Services M. Michel Barnier. Te plenary session will be held in the Teatre room of the Plaza Hotel where all the delegates can participate. Te Teatre room will become a workshop room for the streams aſter the plenary session and in the aſternoon.
Te first plenary session will be followed by morning and aſternoon workshops, which will cover a large variety of topics related to the vision for Europe’s IP. Te workshops will be held in the Teatre, Adolphe Max, Estérel and Versailles conference rooms. Lunch will start at
1pm within the Gallery and Foyer rooms of the Plaza Hotel. Te exhibition area will be reserved for the Gallery, Foyer and Teatre rooms. Te Gala Reception will close the first day of the IP Summit workshops at 8pm.
Te second day of the IP Summit will start with a plenary session in the Teatre room of the Plaza Hotel, and follow a similar structure to the opening day. Te workshops will be held in Teatre, Adolphe Max, Estérel and Versailles conference rooms. Te closing cocktail reception will be in the Foyer and Gallery of Plaza Hotel a 5pm.
