New SkyRiver cataloguing client works on Macs

SkyRiver has announced the availability of a SkyRiver Mac client. This should alleviate the need to switch from one operating system to another just for cataloguing. The SkyRiver cataloguing client also operates with all supported versions of Windows, including Windows 7.

One of the initial

installations of the SkyRiver Mac client is Providence

College, a member of the HELIN Consortium in Rhode Island. Mark Caprio, digital services and cataloguing librarian at Providence College, said: ‘Over and above the benefits that SkyRiver brings to our cataloguing operations, the Mac client allows me to navigate seamlessly through the various applications I have on my Mac workstation’. www.theskyriver.com
