National Bosses Day
This national day is celebrated on 16 October annually in a number of countries throughout the world, and was launched in South Africa in 1990 by CareerSuccess magazine of Dictum Publishers (Pty) Ltd and Edilcom Personnel Consultants.
Now in its 22nd year in South Africa, National Bosses Day is celebrated nationally but has its main function in Gauteng, where at a banquet luncheon the Boss of the Year®
is announced.
(If the 16th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it’s celebrated the Friday before.)
