Farb, who began his career at

Poppy Hills in August of 2007, was nominated by Poppy Hills Teaching Professional Ben Alexander. He en- tered the PGA program at the begin- ning of 2008, earning Class A status last September while volunteering for the NCGA as a tournament official. The 25-year-old will be honored at the annual PGA Awards Dinner in early December and at the Hanna-Wehrman Cup Matches later this month. “This is quite an honor,” Farb said.

“I am speechless and thrilled. I am honored to follow in the footsteps of some of the great professionals in our area. It has been a fabulous experi- ence to work at Poppy Hills and to get involved with the NCGA. In the Del Monte Forest alone I can think of at least a handful of assistants as deserving, if not more so than I, and this year I’m just the lucky one.”

Foundation Debuts Website Renovation The NCGA FOUNDATION WEBSITE, ncgafoundation.org., debuted an up- dated look in August. Featuring a new logo and color scheme designed to highlight the Foundation’s sig- nature initiative, Youth on Course, the website streamlines the process

of searching for YOC facilities and certifying programs. The site can also be accessed via youthoncourse.org. The Internet home of the chari-

table arm of the NCGA also serves as a portal for the Foundation’s online curriculum to certify kids for Youth on Course participation as well as a simple way to donate to the Foundation.
