50 years of INVOLVING

If you want to get involved—with a group, an organization, a cause … with kids, adults, animals … with an event, a trip, a class … with fundraising, administration, instruction—the Senior Center is the place to be. And multiple levels of engagement, from asking questions at a town hall meeting to volunteering as a program leader, offer members and guests the gamut of options for opting in.

Along with individuals, we’re involving other community resources in pursuit of our mission. Valuable partnerships with a variety of local organizations—like AARP, Jazzercise, YMCA, Meadow Creek Golf Course, Charlottesville Parks & Recreation Services, ACAC, and others—make valuable programs and services more accessible to all. And our community volunteer program keeps us involved helping other nonprofits that serve the greater Charlottesville area. Together, we are all involved in making a differ- ence to people of every age in our community.
