Skies Reach for the
Christopher Ward has expanded its pilots’ watch series with two new additions, responding to demand from its customers for new versions of the retro-styled, precision watches. Although very much individuals, the design of both the C8 Pilot Mark II and C5 Malvern Aviator Mark II reflect the very first aviator watch – the iconic IWC B-Uhren watch of 1936. Both watches feature ETA 2824-2 automatic movements.

In homage to Aston Martin’s 1959 Le Mans winning DBR1, Christopher Ward is adding a 500 piece only collector’s watch to its motor sport inspired C70 series – the C70 DBR1/£325
The striking Swiss made, quartz- powered watch is a multi-function chronograph, featuring a three eye ETA 251.272 movement. DBR is an acronym for David Brown Racing, owner of Aston Martin. Brown bought Aston Martin in 1947 when the carmaker was already an iconic name in motor racing. He built on the racing heritage – the DBR1 took first and second place at Le Mans in 1959, as well as winning the world Sports Car Championship in that year.
