INTERCESSION IGNITED 40/40 Prayer Vigil


Join Southern Baptists in praying for spiritual revival and national renewal during the 40/40 Prayer Vigil. Here’s how you can participate: Pray for 40 days: Pray once each day between September 20 and October 29, for forty days of prayer. Pray for 40 hours: Pray for forty hours, between 4:00 p.m. on October 29 and 8:00 a.m. on October 31. Or combine the two. Visit www.4040prayer.com to register your participation.

Chances are your community is more ethni- cally diverse than you know and a mission fi eld is just outside your door. Pray God would open your eyes to the world in your own backyard and for the opportunity you have for drawing the peoples around you into an international community of worship to God. Prayerwalk


One of the best ways to see your community or any community in a different light is to prayerwalk it. Join two or three of your friends and make a trip to an area nearby or across town and pray for God to engage your senses, your mind and your heart with what He wants you to know about where you are. Is there something He wants you to do? Someone He wants you to talk to? Is there a new ministry waiting to be started? Walk, allow God to speak and let Him use you.
