Visitors can enjoy easy access to the beach via the park’s chairlift system, however its location close to the sea has caused severe corrosion over the years. Needles recently engaged the services of Garmendale Engineering Ltd (GEL) to inspect the ride and overhaul its bull wheel mechanism. Renovation work was carried out at GEL’s premises in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
