UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE
The second Universal Studios park in Asia is now entertaining visitors to Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. The park entered an extended soft opening phase back in March and, while a handful of key attractions have yet to debut, guests can enjoy all seven themed zones including Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar.
This relatively compact park is part of the US$4.4 billion (€3.5bn) Resorts World Sentosa development by Genting International. Located on Sentosa island off the Singapore mainland, it also comprises a casino,
entertainment/dining district and a collection of themed hotels. Future plans include a maritime museum and one of the world’s largest marine parks. A full profile will feature in the next issue of Park World.
