VD Equipment Corporation (NASDAQ: CVV) announced its financial results for the quarter

ended March 31, 2010. Gross profits increased by $80,000 to approximately $1,107,000 and CVD‘s gross profit percentage increased by 3.9% to 29.7% on revenue of $3,722,000 for the first quarter ending March 31, 2010 compared to gross profits of appro- ximately $1,027,000 and a gross profit percentage of 25.8% on $3,985,000 of revenue for the quarter ending March 31, 2009. The increase in gross profits and gross profit percentage is primarily attributa- ble to CVD‘s efforts to streamline engineering and production personnel to achieve greater efficienci- es as we continue to develop new products in the Nanomaterials, Solar, Energy, and Semiconductor fields, and continue the expansion of our Application Laboratory’s capabilities. Loss from operations for the three months ended March 31, 2010 was reduced by 51.8%.

Furthermore, SDC, a division of CVD Equipment Corporation, introduces „eLines™“, its new Express Ultra High Purity (UHP) Manifold Welding Service for gas lines. CVD Equipment signed an exclusive Distribution Agreement with Graphene Laboratories, Inc. for Chemical Vapor Deposited (CVD) Graphene products, too. Under this Agreement CVD Equip- ment Corporation will manufacture CVD grown Gra- phene based materials and products and Graphene Laboratories, Inc. will market and sell them on a worldwide basis. CVD grown Graphene is projected

to be used for production of Graphene-based elec- tronics, sensors, MEMS, solar batteries, etc. Some of the CVD Graphene products sold by Graphene Laboratories Inc. will be marked with one or more trademarks from CVD Equipment Corporation, such as nMEMStarter™, nFoil™, and CVDGraphene™. The Company signed an exclusive Distribution Ag- reement with Graphene Laboratories, Inc. for Che- mical Vapor Deposited (CVD) Graphene products. ow Electronic Materials, a leading supplier of printed circuit board materials, received the

Excellent Supplier Award from HannStar Board, a leading printed circuit board manufacturer in the lap- top computer area. Among more than 800 suppliers, Dow Electronic Materials was recognized as one of the ten Excellent Suppliers for its outstanding perfor- mance in quality, delivery, service, technology and price. The Company further announced a multi-phase plan to expand their TrimethylGallium (TMG) produc- tion capacity to meet the surging global demand for the material in the electronics market. The expansion plan includes adding significant TMG capacity in the United States at existing facilities to address short- term demand as quickly as possible. In addition, Dow Electronic Materials will build a new metalorga- nic precursor manufacturing plant in Korea, which is expected to begin operating in early 2011, to create
