TRINITY TAKES TO THE STREETS | Donor Report
Trinity Takes To The Streets (TTTTS) was launched in 2009 as a fundraising initiative to help College students experiencing fi nancial hardship and support Trinity’s innovative educational access initiatives.
During the year, Trinity students, staff, alumni and friends ‘took to the streets’ in a variety of ways to raise sponsorship and funding. The Dublin City Marathon in October was the centrepiece of TTTTS 2009 and 45 valiant runners trained, ran and raised signifi cant funding as part of the TTTTS marathon team.
Many others got involved in TTTTS in other ways –
organising events, participating in TTTTS activities or cheering the runners from the sidelines on marathon day.

Trinity Takes To The Streets captured the imagination of the Trinity New York Alumni so much so that a group of us took to Central Park for a 5km run/walk to raise funds for these important initiatives. Looking forward to TTTTS in NY City 2010!”

We feel privileged to have had the experience of attending Trinity and have benefi ted enormously from gaining our third level education there. We also feel an obligation to give back to the College. By getting involved with TTTTS and raising funds for Trinity Access Programmes, we hope that other students will reap the same benefi ts as we have.”
Grainne Dooley, TCD alumna
